I have never really eaten Cuban food before, and after a long day we decided to stop at Sazon Cuban Cuisine. We were greeted and seated immediately. As I sat down I had a great vibe from the manager and employees. It felt warming and more of a family oriented restaurant–WHICH I LOVE! As I was looking through the menu, it had a wide selection from; steaks, seafood, chicken, and MORE!
So I decided to go with the Cosmopolitan and the Churrasco (12oz) grilled skirt steak with grilled SHRIMP, steamed vegetables, rice, and a side salad. As we waited for our entrees to come out, the server gave us bread and of course the dipping condiments (Oil, Balsamic Vinegar, salt & PEPPER) to snack on.
Wow! Just WOW! The bread was utterly delicious! I believe it was sliced Cuban bread, toasted with butter ( LOL! I can admit I tried to recreate my own Sazon Cuban bread when I got home and it was a total fail ). As you bite into the bread, it was crisp, yet moist, bursting with FLAVORS! When the server arrived at our table with our entrees, I couldn’t believe how big the meal was! I must say the MEAL was enough for
2 people, but of course I had it all to MYSELF! Overall, my experience at Sazon Cuban Cuisine was amazing, and the FOOD and drinks were delicious!
